Product Description INFORAD K1 is a sleek, accurate and affordable GPS-based speed camera warning system. INFORAD K1 - the world's smallest camera warning system - uses GPS satellite technology to determine your vehicle's current position, compares it to an on-board database of thousands of known and speed camera locations and red light camera locations in the UK & Europe, and then alerts you in advance with visual and audible alarms when you are near a camera. It is 100% road legal in the UK and works right out of the box - just charge the internal battery and place on your dashboard or affix to your windscreen. INFORAD K1 includes free unlimited access and updates to the #1 camera locations database. New cameras are being added to the database all the time and you can download updates for free using your Windows PC (does not work on Mac OS) with the built-in USB connector and be protected for no additional charge. Other GPS speed warning systems typically charge a subscription fee for database updates - which can be over £30 per year - making INFORAD K1 the most affordable GPS speed camera locator on the market. Don't take any chances. You'll drive safer, avoid tickets, and protect your license. INFORAD K1 pays for itself after helping you avoid just one ticket! Buy direct from Inforad for FREE SHIPPING to UK & Europe.

It works, but........... July 26, 2010 sparkx Firstly it is of good build quality and I found the software easy to install and update the locations.
But having used this to drive from Oxford to Watford I nearly threw the thing onto the hard shoulder and turned it off in the end, the problem is that it is only as accurate as the database as it works off GPS.
It went off on the M40 passing High Wycome when I was doing 70 and it continued with the beeping to indicate I was speeding until I had slowed to below 50mph, this carried on for a couple of miles and I can only assume there used to be roadworks with a 50 limit.
Then when I hit the M25 clockwise it went off non stop both there and back on the section that used to be a 50mph through the roadworks that is now back to a 70mph. The beeping was very loud and constant, I would have preffered a cancel button where you can manually acknoledge the warning and then shut it up.
I bought this as I got a new car with built in Sat Nav but I am going to put my old TomTom back in just for the speed cameras as this is just too annoying to use on a daily basis. Please give us a firmware upgrade so we can turn off the persistent speeding warning.

Just get one June 18, 2010 Ferret keeper (England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I read the other reviews, and decided to get one, I can honestly say that I am impressed. I needed to contact the seller as I was unable to get the drivers onto my laptop to download the info, and was not left on hold with music playing, straight through to a actual human being, helped me there and then on the phone all sorted no fuss, great service for a great little device. As someone else mentioned on their review tried mine of my dash infront of my speedo, works a treat picks up the satalite fine. You can hear the "Bleeps / alarms" over the radio, and where I have mine sited you can see the lights no problem at all.
Simply 'BRILLIANT' June 14, 2010 Mrs. J. A. Cullen 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this gadget about 6 weeks ago after looking into it and reading reviews here and on the net in general and it is BRILLIANT it has picked up cameras where I didn't think there were any, also the instructions say that it should be in view of the windscreen to be able to pick up signals but I've had mine plugged in charging and at that time not any where near the windscreen yet it has still picked up camera signals no problem at all.
I highly recommend this as it does exactly what it says it does! I am a very fussy customer and I expect everything I buy to be perfect and do exactly as stated and this item definately does just that!!
My Dad is also impressed with this item and I have just ordered one for him too, and he is like me... fussy when it comes to purchasing items and expecting only the best and hes seen this in action on our trips out!!
Amazing!!..BUY IT or pay through your teeth for fines!!

Speed camera warning June 8, 2010 Mr. J. W. Hobson A useful type of gadget to warn you when there are speed cameras in the area, small and compact and reasonably cheap. A bit confusing with regard to the different emitted not knowing what they all mean.
