Although the iPaq looks very good and has a lovely high quality display, the package is severely let down by the poor design of the operating system (the icons and menus are often baffling) and the appalling sound quality. Despite the fast processor, the speed of reaction to touching the screen is frustratingly slow.
If you have never owned a Sat Nav, don't want to use it as a hands free device and don't want to use spoken instructions, then you might be happy with this. If you have ever owned even the most basic Tom Tom, then you will find this very frustrating and of relatively poor quality. The instriuction book supplied with the iPaq is also very poor.
