This product is very solid and well weighted, the rubber grip which is supposed to stop the mount from slipping around on the dash also feels as anti-slip as is technically possible. On flat roads driving sensibly this product does what it says on the box, the problem is if you have to accelerate up a hill, the sat nav (mine is a normal size Garmin live 540) and the mount will still land up in your lap everytime. Within 24hours of owning this product I had reverted back to attaching my sat nav to the windscreen and hoping that nobody steals the windscreen mount which I am again now leaving in the car due to the hassle of detaching/reattaching it. My Nav-Mat is now used as a paper weight/ cup mat on my desk.

I have to admit that I was dubious about this item but thought that I would buy one to try out anyway. This does exactly as it claims, it stuck fast on my C-Max dashboard and remained seated even through a test on the way home from work involving some 'enthusiastic' driving - for testing purposes only you understand.
My only comment is not intended as a critisism against this great product but more against the rather stumpy windscreen mount I received with my TomTom Go 520 unit. My TomTom will not sit completely upright due to the short mount and so I have just ordered a longer, fully adjustable mount by Vivo from here, Amazon, for 10.
Overall, a recommended buy from a security point of view which also allows your TomTom to be placed absolutely anywhere on your dashboard safely and securely.

Great piece of equipment, it does everything that is claimed. It doesn't
move on the dash and is simple to use. Another bonus is that being closer to you it is easier to view the Sat-Nav. Full marks would recommend to anyone
