5 out of 5 stars Garmin Bike Mount   August 9, 2010
dusty
does what it says on the tin. i agree with others here, don't bother using the ties to put it on the bike. the watch will hold it on and you can take the mount off when you race.

5 out of 5 stars Essential Tool   July 21, 2010

What to say! Essential tool if you want to cycling with 405cx. Expansive plastic/rubber, should be included with original packages. Buyers don't need to pay extra shipping and spend more quid, not politically correct by garmin.

4 out of 5 stars It works   May 29, 2010

Works fine with my 405. I do bother with the cable ties (another reviewer didn't) and the watch is very secure.

Used it in a triathlon and it takes a few seconds and is a bit fiddly to get the watch off the bike, but found it worth the effort.

4 out of 5 stars Does the job   April 8, 2010

If you've got the Forerunner 405CX or the 310XT, buying this will probably be a no brainer, especially if you have the cadence sensor as well. If you've spent that much on the watch, an extra tenner to attach it properly to your bike is nothing.

I don't bother with the cable ties - instead use the watch strap itself to keep it secure. Fits well enough, holds the watch. Didn't really expect much more. Must admit I've not used it in a duathlon/triathlon race yet - don't really know how quick release it would be as it is a little fiddly to get it on.

Does exactly as it says it does. Works well..... using on a turbo and no problems :>
